In several other cultures, it’s quite common to see people taking afternoon naps.

If the snooze button is your partner in crime, then you need to part ways – literally.

Here’s a surprising little benefit for those who don’t like extended house guests: if you need your separate sleeping spaces to get your shut-eye, then you have an excuse not to have overnight guests. Or at least not those who stay for long. Many of our friends and family now know that we sleep in separate rooms, meaning that we don’t technically have a guest room. So if they’re looking for somewhere to crash for a week-long visit, they know to ask other friends or family before us. This will only help those who don’t have a lactose-intolerance, of course. But calcium and dairy both boost the production of sleep-inducing melatonin. So if a cup of warm milk isn’t your thing, put some cheddar on some crackers.

Pain relievers are a regular part of a complete breakfast for many people around the world. If you only wake up with a headache, but it manages to subside throughout the day, you may not think much of it. It’s certainly a pain (literally) to deal with during those first couple hours of work, but […]

Bedtime is a sacred time. You probably have your routines to make sure you are fully relaxed and ready for a good night’s rest. You likely have your hygiene routines, too. Maybe you do a little tidying up around the apartment or house because you hate to wake up to a messy home. Whoever you […]
