“If someone is emotionally mature, they will present as a good thinker and problem solver in the relationship,” and “A person who is emotionally mature will try to understand your love language, the way you like to give and receive love, and will aim to deliver love to you in your preferred language but also express to you how you can show your love for them.”

A man understands that having a partner means taking on her family. You grow your networks. You double your family. Your family will be there for him in many ways he doesn’t yet know, but he understands will happen. So he will be there for them. He’ll go with you to care for your sick family member. That’s his family, too.

You don’t realize that simply waiting and seeing how previous relationships unfolded before moving in together would have saved you the headache (and heartache) of having to suddenly find a new home. You just blame your exes or your ex-friends for the disaster, rather than thinking maybe you could prevent this from happening again.

Not all men have marriage on their mind, at least not without some pushing and prodding.
