Here is a look at some of the first Black women to graduate from Ivy League institutions and the circumstances surrounding their attendance.
Michael Brown, a 17-year-old black high school student from Houston, TX, applied to 20 universities, and he got accepted into them all....with full rides. They include four Ivy league universities - Harvard, Stanford, Yale and Princeton, and I believe that every adult's knee-jerk reaction should be "Hooray!"
