Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority
Today, we salute the pink and green. The pearls. The Ivies. The power. For the AKAs Founders Day is more than a celebration, it’s a gentle reminder. Alpha Kappa Alpha didn’t just make history; they continue making it.
During the seminar titled “Pathways to Soar: Unlocking Impactful Leadership,” held in Anaheim, California, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. welcomed four powerhouse women as honorary members: Olympic track star Gabby Thomas, and supermodel trailblazer Beverly Johnson, CNN anchor and legal analyst Laura Coates, and former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
The AKAs are not happy about what they saw on “Insecure.”
The nation's first Greek-letter organization founded by Black women is leading the charge in a very important effort.
Over the weekend, living gospel legend Yolanda Adams became a new honorary member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
