The eighties were some pretty awesome years, what with the “excess” hair-and-makeup trends, and the advent of MTV. Michael Jackson’s Thriller inspired many a leather jacket and “the material girl” Madonna gave us enough skin-tight Lycra and tulle skirts to last, well, a decade.
