Little Things To For Your Boo On National Boyfriend Day

Do you know what today is? Probably not, because as time has gone on a number of miscellaneous holidays have been popping up on our calendar’s left and right, and National Boyfriend Day is one of them.

Who came up with this holiday you ask? We’re not completely sure, but we’re leaning toward some unappreciated boyfriend who was tired of having to shell out a bunch of money on Valentine’s Day and having his lady overlook him on Sweetest day (another random, kind of made-up holiday).

Either way, with all that’s going on in the world right now, we’re down for any excuse to show love to someone else, and who better to recognize than the special man in your life? Since the day’s more than half over and you probably didn’t even realize National Boyfriend Day was a thing before this moment, we put together a list of little things you can do (before midnight) to recognize your boo.

Take something off his plate

Does your boyfriend have to drop his mom off at the doctor’s office before picking up his dog from the vet and then pick up his prescription from the drugstore? Offer to take at least one — if not all — of those tasks off his plate. Tell him head home and relax, you’ve got it covered today.

Have his favorite meal delivered to his office

If you two don’t have plans tonight or can’t meet up, have his favorite dinner delivered to his office as a surprise before he heads home. We’re pretty sure he’ll stop by your place on his way home to show his appreciation.

Or make his favorite meal

Nothing tops eating your favorite meal other than eating your favorite meal prepared by your favorite lady.

Indulge one of his fantasies

Is there something he loves to do in bed that you’re only down for some of the time? Make tonight one of those times.

Score cheap seats to a game

When it comes to men, you generally can’t go wrong with sports. Scrub the internet for tickets to see one of his favorite teams play when they’re in your city — so long as it’s not football. You know what we’re saying.

Has he been dying to catch up on a show or series but hesitant to spend money on whatever streaming service it plays on? Go ahead and gift him with the HBO, Netflix, or Hulu subscription. (You can always cancel next month.)

No we’re not talking about a spa treatment or anything over the top like that, we’re talking about product. Men love to act like they could care less about what grooming products they use, but we’re sure you’ve caught your boo dipping in your expensive moisturizer or conditioner more than once. Get him his own set of high-end products to keep his beard looking fresh and his skin aglow.
