Remember when Jessee Williams was the epitome of #WokeBae? Well, a new couple on the block has totally eclipsed the actor’s standing because what’s better than one beautiful, woke individual? Two who are in love –or at least in like.

Last night, Common and Angela Rye made their debut appearance as a couple at the Creative Arts Emmys, posing on the carpet together in a stance that clearly let the world know they’re more than friends. And proving speculation about their photo opp was indeed correct, the political analyst shared a post on Instagram congratulating Common on his win, noting that “It’s only the beginning” when it comes to their relationship and the work they plan to do together.
