Though it’s to be expected that anything Rihanna drops will cause major buzz, and while we’ve seen beauty launches from celebrities before, what separates this collection from the others is that it truly lives up to a principle so many brands claim to believe in yet fail to properly execute: inclusion. Today, Fenty Beauty hits shelves with 40 different makeup shades and a variety of accompanying highlighters and skinsticks, proving this collection is truly for everybody — and especially us brown girls.

During last night’s launch party, Rihanna explained why it was so important for her to release such an expansive line, saying “You want people to appreciate the product and not feel like ‘Oh that’s cute, but it only looks good on her.'”
