Afro puffs are like a Black girl’s right of passage. Typically, it’s the first style our mothers can scoop our little bit of hair into as a baby, then it’s the cute ‘do our parents choose for our toddler baby pictures, then we grow out of the look in middle school when we want to be grown, only to go back and reclaim the look as adults.
