Jada Pinkett Smith Says Her 64-Year-Old Mom’s Body Puts Hers To Shame
Jada Pinkett Smith has a pretty rockin’ body. The 45-year-old mother of two often shows it off on the beach and we can all see it when she hits the red carpet like she did at the Girls Trip premiere in Los Angeles earlier this week.
In the past, she said that eating healthy and exercising helped her, in her opinion, look better in her 40s than she’s looked at any other time in her life.
“When I look at myself in the mirror, and I see the well-written up woman that I am, I am damn proud,” she told PEOPLE in 2015. “I think I’m more beautiful now than I’ve ever been.”

And someone who can relate to aging gracefully and having their best body as they get older is Adrienne Banfield-Jones, Pinkett Smith’s 64-year-old mother. In 2014, everyone’s jaw dropped when the actress shared this picture of her mom at the beach when she was 61:
At the Girls Trip premiere, ET asked Pinkett Smith about inheriting her mom’s great bikini body.
“I have good genes, don’t I?” she said to correspondent Kevin Frazier. “Yeah, she rocks one better than me. And you know when your own mother can put you to shame, I’m like, I don’t know if I gotta get back in the gym. I don’t know what I gotta do. I just told her, I said, ‘All that right there, just make sure you passing all those good genes down here.'”
And speaking of good genes, she also joked about that picture she shared of son Jaden with an image of herself during her Different World days. The resemblance was uncanny.
“Isn’t that crazy?” Pinkett Smith said. “When I saw that picture — Will took that picture — He was like, ‘Yeah, look at this.'”
Her response to seeing the photo made her light up.
“Awwww, my child does look like me!”
