These days, it’s not uncommon to find yourself in a room where natural hair is the norm and relaxed hair the minority, but the opposite is true when it comes to red carpets and magazine covers. Silky straight is still the standard when it comes to what’s salable on most mainstream mags, but there have been moments when sistahs bucked the trend and rocked their own crown and glory or textured wig and weave looks, showing off the beauty that is natural hair.
