Pick Your Top Three Jodeci Songs If You Can
If You Could Only Listen To 3 Jodeci Songs For The Rest Of Your Life, Which Ones Would You Choose?
We’ve been having a male ’90s R&B session in the office today, but after skipping around songs from Tevin Campbell, Mint Condition, and others we settled on Jodeci and never looked back. After about the seventh song– and my seventh time saying “That’s my song” — I tried to pick a favorite track from the New Jack Quartet and couldn’t do it. Quickly “my favorite” turned into my Top 3 and then I felt like I was leaving out other jams and tried to round out a Top 5 list. But I love a good challenge and so do the other editors so we played a game of if you could only listen to three Jodeci songs for the rest of your life, which ones would you choose? After much thought and internal conflict, here’s what we said:
Brande: “Forever My Lady,” “Stay,” and “Come & Talk to Me”
Veronica: “Come & Talk to Me,” “Get On Up,” and “Cry For You”
Victoria: “Come & Talk to Me,” “Cry For You,” and “Lately” because, as she said, “I just can’t live without that song.”
Now we pose the question to you. If you could only listen to three Jodeci songs for the rest of your life, which ones would you choose?
