Could You Stay After He Encourages an Abortion?

You’re in a loving enough relationship with a man, whom, you wouldn’t mind being the father of your child, you guess. On one of your hot and spicy nights, you decide (or he does) that you’re too tired to wear a condom. Sex first. Common sense later.

Weeks pass and somehow, you escape any one of several sexual transmitted infections available in the community that could risk both your lives. You think you’ve gotten away with something. You think you’ve outsmarted the gods of chlamydia and other sexual parasites that someone else may be struggling to treat everyday.

And, you have. For now.

You’ve played a game with death and you’ve survived.

But, what about life?

What if, after your steamy sex night, you find yourself with the life of a child growing inside your womb? How would you really feel about the unprotected sex you’ve had with your man?

Even if he were to marry you (“one day,” as he may have promised), what would you do if he were to insist upon an abortion? What if he told you, “I can’t support this baby right now, so please abort your pregnancy?”

Would you abort?

Could you continue to stay in a relationship with a man after he encourages an abortion?
