The problem with egomaniacs is that they can come off as very charming. They have an air about them that can make you, at first, feel very safe, taken care of, and admired. They’re usually very assertive and confident which are, of course, attractive qualities. However, they usually take those qualities too far—they believe they know what’s best for everyone and don’t even ask others what they want. At first, they seem caring, but they very quickly become bossy. Unfortunately, by the time you notice things going wrong, the egomaniac is so attached to you that breaking up with him will set him off. It’s best to avoid egomaniacs altogether but to do that, you have to spot them. Here are early warning signs of an egomaniac.
