From the runway to Coachella to the workplace, heads carves have been making a major statement as of late. Whether you love a look that’s boho chic or a conscious and Badu-inspired one, there are a lot of perks to wrapping it up and not having to worry about your hair for the day.

The best part about head wraps? It’s not all about the look. When you’re running late and your roots are a mess, a scarf is a great way to wrap things up fashionably when there’s no time to do your ‘do.

These adorable wraps are cute and conservative enough to wear to work when you have to get out of the door in a hurry, but don’t want to look like you came straight from the bed.

The Turban

When your hair is short, or your roots are rough but you can let your hair hang down, the turban is perfect (and quick).

Wrap the scarf around the back of your head, bringing it to the front for a double knot. Then tuck the ends back into the back of the band so that your hair is covered.
