Keith Sweat: Back In The Day I Used To Hump The Stage With Class
Keith Sweat is dropping his twelfth studio album, “Dress to Impress,” tomorrow but back in the day the R&B singer used to hump the stage to impress.
We don’t know if you ever made it to one of the “Nobody” singer’s concerts, but it’s obvious they used to be lit — and really we shouldn’t be surprised. Sweat actually discovered the notoriously raunchy singing group Silk (“Meeting in my Bedroom” anybody?) and when we asked if he ever wanted to be as sexually raw as his protegés, he reminded us that he was. But “back in the day when I used to hump the stage, I did it very classy,” he told us.
Well alright.
Check out or chat with Mr. Sweat as he dishes on his new album, his favorite memory of Gerald Levert, and TGT trying to mimic LSG’s mega group success.
