Having Lots of Sexual Partners Isn’t the Biggest Risk Factor

The bigger threat? Living in a country with low sex education and big judgments about sexuality. Countries with people who sleep with more people on average but have better sexual education actually have lower STI rates. So be sure to stay informed — and go to your annual checkups.
