Do your friends say you need to tighten up your filter? When you tell your friends about your dates, do they have looks of horror on their face? Do your friends desperately insist on just “taking a peek” at your online dating profiles to “make sure” they’re all they could be? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you probably don’t have a very good filter when it comes to dating. You mean well. You want to give people the benefit of the doubt. You don’t want to be too “Judgy” so when a guy says or does something that seems weird, you come up with a dozen explanations for him. You probably have friends who are too picky—their filters are too strong—who always end up alone, so as a reaction, you’re saying yes to all dates. But in dating, it’s all about balance. Just because you’re okay with admitting, “This person seems off…” doesn’t mean you’re picky. Here are signs you have no filter when it comes to dating.

Or you end up editing a resume

First of all, you end up on a lot of dates with men who failed to mention they’ve been unemployed for a year. Then, after you’ve suggested some job-hunting tips, you end up going over their resume with them.

Most of your dates put on too many moves

Most of your dates do not take physical cues. They put their arm around you and make advances when you’re clearly not feeling them. When you tell them to cool it, they ridicule you for being uptight.

You get a lot of unsolicited d-ck pics

You’ve experienced this tragedy more times than you want to admit: you finish a great date with a guy. He was charming and cordial and a gentleman. Just when you’re getting home, blissfully happy, you get a d-ck pic.
