iPhone, Therefore I Love
It’s 6:30am and I’m in the mall… And its not Black Friday. What the hell am I doing? I’m being a good husband.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that the iPhone4 is hitting shelves today (June 24). And when your wife’s birthday falls in June and she loves having the “new-new,” that means that you get up at 5:30, get dressed and schlep to the mall (sans your three morning cups of coffee) and stand in line like a good husband.
I can’t say it’s all bad. I am a self-proclaimed geek who likes to be in the know (not to mention watching nerds in their natural habit is often hilarious), but it got me to wondering if this is what married life is about. Will I soon go from waiting for iPhones to waiting for Elmos or whatever hot toy is out come holiday time? I’m not complaining. I’m just saying…
