Think about what happens on a honeymoon: a lot of tropical drinks with umbrellas in them, a lot of sex, and probably temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Translation: during your honeymoon you’re drunk, whacked out on orgasms and suffering from heat exhaustion. You’re not in your greatest state of mind to make any large decisions. The same goes for when you’re in the honeymoon phase of a relationship. In fact, that’s exactly why it’s called a phase: it’s not real life. There’s nothing wrong with it, of course. In fact, it’s an important phase in a blooming relationship.
