Keyshia Cole Shares Touching Message For Her Mom And The Aunt Who Is Helping Her Fight Her Addiction

Unless you have a parent who has struggled with addiction, many of us cannot even begin to imagine that lifestyle. We may have seen friends and family members live through it but watching a parent, the person who is supposed to be responsible for your care and well being, struggle to take care of themselves is an entirely different experience.

We’ve seen a glimpse of it with Keyshia Cole and her mother Frankie Lons.

We’ve watched the ups and downs on the reality shows on BET, “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” and then again when her sister and mother got a spin off, “Frankie and Neffe.” The drama didn’t stop when the reality shows did. Frankie picked up a drug related arrest in April of 2011, released that “Frankie Leg” video later that same year, and most recently appeared on Paternity Court to determine her daughter Elite’s parentage.

But in a recent Instagram post, Cole reports that things are starting to look up for her mother, through the help of her Aunt BB.
