House Hacks is a homemaking column that offers weekly tips on organizing, cleaning and maintaining a home in the most efficient way possible.

Growing up, I never paid much attention to my parents’ or grandparents’ housekeeping techniques. But now that I’m a bit older, I sure wish that I had. Thankfully, my grandmother is still just a call away, and she’s a treasure trove for house hacks. Within seconds, the grease was gone. Since the oven cleaner worked like magic on the floors, I began to do some research to find out if there were other ways Easy Off could be used around the home, and surprisingly, there were.
