Tami Roman Suffers Miscarriage
Reality TV star Tami Roman and Reggie Youngblood are mourning the loss of their unborn child. A representative for the couple confirmed to TMZ Thursday that Roman suffered a miscarriage. She was three months pregnant.
“[Tami and Reggie are] mourning their loss with close friends and family. The couple requests prayers and privacy as they get through this difficult time.”
Roman announced her pregnancy last month during an appearance on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta After Party Live.” She was six weeks into her first trimester at the time. The “Basketball Wives: LA” star appeared alongside Youngblood in the latest season of We TV’s “Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars.” One of the couple’s primary sources of conflict on the show was Youngblood, 27, and his desire to marry and have a child. Roman, who is 45 and already has two children from a previous marriage, was opposed to having a baby and remarrying. However, after several rounds of counseling with MBC stars Jim and Elizabeth Caroll, the mother of two experienced a change of heart and decided to have a baby with Youngblood.
We imagine that this has to be hard on both Reggie and Tami. They’re definitely in our prayers.
