We love shining a light on some of our favorite celebrity dads. Funny man Marlon Wayans—most recently known for his hilarious horror comedy franchise A Haunted House— is a doting dad to two teens. The 42-year-old loves giving us glimpses into his family life via his instagram. Recently for his son’s 13th birthday the comedian posted such a touching letter:
“I remember being the first one to hold you and quelled your new to the world cry with a simple “hey man… That’s daddy’s boy” you immediately stopped crying and smiled your adorable lil smirk and that moment we were bonded for life. I know I can be hard on you sometimes but that’s only because I know your potential and together we will refine it so that you can reach Heights u never imagined existed. You are special son. The beauty of My heart smiles when I think of the wonderful man my little boy is turning into. You’re a teenager… Wow! Hold tight to your innocence. Enjoy it. Stay light hearted and warm spirited as you ignite that fire of excellence these coming years. You are smart, sweet, kind, athletic, brilliant, funny, loyal, calm and every bit of cool I always wished I could be.”
