Beyonce’s Blue

Dedicated to her beautiful daughter, Beyonce caused our hearts to melt with sweet lyrics and the sound of Blue’s voice on this track.

Each day I feel so blessed to be looking at you

Cause when you open your eyes, I feel alive

My heart beats so damn quick when you say my name
When I’m holding you tight, I’m so alive
Now let’s just live it up

Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely

Stevie Wonder’s 1976 hit was dedicated to and about his daughter Aisha. Who didn’t fall in love with her crying and splashing in the tub and the classic “Come on, Aisha. Get out of the water, Baby?”

Fun Fact: Today, Aisha is a back-up singer for her dad. The father and daughter pair shared a duet on his song, “How Will I Know” in 2005.

Rod Stewart’s Forever Young

Stewart rewrote the lyrics to the Bob Dylan classic for his children Sean and Kimberley.

Kanye West’s Only One

The rapper teamed up with Paul McCartney for a new song, “Only One,” which is an ode to his family. He’s been quoted as saying that he felt like his mom sang through him to his daughter. And just like everything else the rapper’s does it has been met with criticism.

Madonna’s Little Star

The Material Girl dedicated her 1998’s “Ray of Light” to her biological daughter Lourdes.

We’re still swooning over these lovely lyrics:

You are a treasure to me
You are my star
You breathe new life
Into my broken heart.

John Lennon’s  Beautiful Boy

Beatle rocker John Lennon dedicated this song to his second son, Sean.  It was released about a month before he was murdered in 1980. Famous lyrics were:

 I can hardly wait

To see you come of age
But I guess we’ll both just have to be patient

Kelly Rowland’s Mommy’s Little Baby

Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland pretty much broke the Internet when she released the snippet of the lullaby that she had created for her newborn son Titan.

Britney Spears’ My Baby

Spears credited her recovery for her season of pain to her two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, as displayed in her 2008 song, “My Baby.”

This is our favorite line in the song:

How did I get through all of my days without you? Now living with you, see everything’s true.

Eminem’s Hailie’s Song

Showing a softer sign the rapper sang for the first (and last?) time in this song dedicated to his daughter.

But then I see my baby
Suddenly i’m not crazy
It all makes sense when i look into her eyes.
