The Internet exploded last week when word spread of reality star Apollo Nida pleading guilty to mail, wire and bank fraud charges and, as a result, facing years in prison. And as all eyes are on Nida as he awaits his fate, everyone is also watching his wife, Real Housewives of Atlanta Star, Phaedra Parks, with whom he has two sons. Rumors have been swirling for months about trouble in paradise for the couple, but through it all the duo has remained a united front in public, supporting one another along the way and shooting down all reports of an impending divorce. T.I. and Tiny – He’s been down for her and she’s been down for him. For a time, one would’ve though that these two were the modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, but through T.I.’s stint in prison, allegations of infidelity and public disputes, T.I. and Tiny, who will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary this year, have managed to stick with it for the long haul.

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant – This couple faced one of the most high-profile cases of 2003, as Kobe, an NBA vet, was brought up on charges of sexual assault. Then married to the LA Laker for only two years, Vanessa, held Kobe’s hand at a national press conference, showing the curious public that she indeed would remain by her man’s side. Nearly 11, and one two-year split later, the Bryants are still together—making their love last forever.

Earvin “Magic” and Cookie Johnson – More than two decades ago, Magic Johnson shocked the world when he revealed he was HIV positive. And with the world watching, Magic began the difficult task of rebounding after such a debilitating setback. But along with the help of his loyal wife, Cookie who is HIV-free, Magic was able to do just that, and would go on to become a sports legend and safe sex advocate.

Ja Rule and Aisha Atkins – After serving nearly two years in prison for tax evasion and criminal possession of a weapon, rapper Ja Rule was released just in time for Christmas last year and it wasn’t only fans welcoming him back into society with open arms, his wife of 13 years, Aisha was there to support her man through his transition back into everyday life.

Gregg and Nene Leakes – Fans of Bravo’s hit reality series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, have watched this couple’s love rise, fall and then rise again. Last year, after a messy, emotionally taxing 2011 divorce, the couple rekindled their love and married once more—in one of the most fabulous television weddings to date. Proving that love might be better the second time around.

Ludacris and Eudoxie – Every relationship faces some sort of hard time. Unfortunately for celebrities—this duo included—many of those times are played out for all to see. So in 2013 when it was revealed that Ludacris was the new father of a baby outside of his longtime relationship, the Internet was in an uproar, as many would have never seen such coming.
