Daytime Dates 101

Whatever your reason for abstaining from sex, if you still plan on being romantically involved with someone you’re going to need to come up with creative date ideas that don’t involve alcohol. Or beds. Or hours near bedtime.

You get the idea.

Kayaking

You may think your guy will be tempted to paddle you into a secluded area and try to hook up, but he’ll realize really quick that any little movement means capsizing. So he can keep admiring you from his own little hole-seat-thing (whatever they’re called in a kayak) and keep his hands off.

An Expensive Amusement Park

Expensive is the important part here. Why? Because you’re not going to cut your time early to go home and get it in when you shelled out $70 per ticket. And you’re not going to risk being kicked out for having sex on the go-carts when you paid that much cash either.

Art Museums

These are usually relatively inexpensive, but you’ll both feel so insecure about all the stuff you said while you were pretending to understand art that you won’t even try to have sex.

A Petting Zoo

You can see your date’s soft side while you snuggle cute little baby goats. You’ll also be surrounded by screaming children and you’ll both smell like farm animals, neither of which will make you not want to do anything that could cause pregnancy.

The Cheap Comedy Shows

Most comedy theaters offer really cheap shows in the afternoon just to get people there. Do that.

Walk Around The Harbor

If you live near a harbor, you can spend hours just admiring every gorgeous, diverse boat there. And the great part is that seagull poop isn’t exactly an aphrodisiac.

Go To A Playground

It’s cute, because it brings out your date’s childish side. But, like the petting zoo, it also reminds you that you don’t want kids right now so you don’t want sex right now either.

A Swap Meet

These are a great way to get to know one another! You can tell a lot about a guy based on the style of clothing/furniture/antiques he is into. Or, if he is into that at all.

A Candy Store

Go to one of those candy stores where you fill up your own baggies at giant, clear bins. These are magical places. Then take your candy to a local park, and swap your goodies. (Just not those goodies).
