Ron Artest Knows Just Who to Thank at Finals End
It always seems like the last game of the NBA Finals is a close one. And last night’s game between the Los Angeles Laker and Boston Celtics was just that, a close showdown.
Ending with a 83–79 score, the Lakers won their sixteenth championship and fifth in the past eleven years. As expected, Kobe Bryant won MVP being on court five of the championing years. Our favorite Queens-born new Laker, Ron Artest, made sure to thank those who really count: “First off I want to thank everybody in my hood… I definitely want to thank my doctors…My psychiatrist, she really helped me relax a lot. And I got a single coming out called ‘Championion’!”
So not only do we have another season of basketball to look forward to, but Artest musical skills. We’re overjoyed.
