Some people are great at keeping a secret, and then there’s me. Call me overly excited but there are certain things I can’t wait to shout from the rooftops, and the gender of my baby was one of them. It’s so hard to hold it in, especially when you wait until the “safe point” to let people even know you are expecting a child.
My husband and I actually learned the gender of our child in the beginning weeks of my second trimester. Trust when I say it was weird for us that they were even able to tell us with so much accuracy, but my, how science has changed (we had the optional genetic screening).
