Drew Sidora Welcomes Baby Boy A Month Early

Early Tuesday morning, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story actress Drew Sidora and husband Ralph Pittman welcomed a baby boy, People reports.

The family’s newest addition was scheduled for delivery in August, but everyone was shocked when he was delivered one month early. After being hospitlizaed for nearly three weeks, doctors induced the expectant mom’s labor.

“Mother and baby are in good health and resting,” a rep confirmed.

Collectively, Sidora, Pittman, and their 4-year-old son, Josiah, decided to name the baby Machai after turning to the Bible for inspiration.

“We would consider a name and then we would read the story and be like, ‘Well, he was eaten by the lions. We don’t want that name,’ ” she shared back in May. “We thought about Jayden, but Josiah let us know, ‘I don’t like that name. I don’t want that to be my brother’s name!’ But when we told him about Machai, [which is the name of a prophet in the Bible,] he said, ‘I like that name.’”

The rep continues:

“At 4 lbs. 4.5 ounces and 16.5 inches, Machai is truly a miracle. We’re asking for prayers and wishing her and her husband the best.”’

For now, the Sister Code actress will focus on her family and completing her upcoming cookbook.
