Every time I’m having one of those mornings where I’m looking in the mirror at my chipped nail polish, that white head about to break on through to the other side of my nostril and a wool beanie covering my new growth, I am no longer comforted by the fact that somewhere in a Target lot near you, paparazzi is snapping a pic of Halle Berry in a college sweatshirt and no makeup… looking absolutely gorgeous. Check out some celebs that never seem to have an “off” day, or at least aren’t photographed on one.
1. Cassie Ventura
The new face of Carol’s Daughters and spokesmodel along with Lauren London for Sean John has been making a living out of looking good since starting her modeling career at the age of 14. Subtly proving she’s more than a pretty face, you have to respect Cassie’s hustle: On top of modeling and a singing career, she’s also made appearances in videos by Kanye West, Chris Brown and most recently Wiz Khalifa. Private piercings, shaved head and all Cassie always looks hot.
2. Lauren London
We may have questioned how “New-New” handles her personal life, but her clear caramel complexion and deep dish dimples will always hold a place in our hearts. Lauren not only has a Sean John contract in common with Cassie, but also has made numerous appearances in music videos by Ne-yo, Common and Pharell. She’s also starred on the big screen, most recently playing the character of Renee in “Madea’s Big Happy Family“. When she’s not dodging the paparazzi with her famous Kardashian friends, she playing mommy to her son Kameron Carter. (Plus she’s a Sag; banger is our birthright)
3. Gabrielle Union
In addition to her glowing skin, Gabrielle Union can always been seen flashing a mega-watt smile to complete her look. There’s something about Gabby that never looks forced or artificial. She carries herself like the “Homecoming Queen” that you really want to hate, but can’t because even you can’t deny that she’s actually a very sweet girl (or at least seems to be). Gabby’s work history isn’t too shabby either boasting years of television guest spots, movies and a degree in sociology from UCLA.
4. Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana is proof that classic, simple beauty without a whole lot of fuss never goes out of style. She possesses angular features and a svelte, yet Hot shape courtesy of her classic training as a ballet dancer. Even rocking a blue skin and that weird tail thingy in the box office blockbuster “Avatar”, Zoe earned the #7 spot on AskMen.com’s Top 10 Hottest Aliens list.
10. Sanaa Lathan
Sanaa Lathan can pull elegant and sophisticated off drenched in sweat and basketball shorts. There’s something about her sparkling eyes and bright smile that allows Lathan’s beauty to radiate even through a smooth scar on her right cheek which resulted from an unfortunate accident involving an oven and a lump of Play-Doh she once revealed in an interview with Esquire magazine. Look for Sanaa in the upcoming movie “Contagion” starring along side Matt Damon and Jude Law.
