Hannibal Buress

Currently, Hannibal Buress is infamously known for two things: “outing” Bill Cosby and all the rape allegations against him, and taking Justin Bieber down during the singer’s recent Comedy Central roast. But Buress is moving on to bigger and better things. After his successful comedy tour ends in June, he’s set to star in his own show, which Comedy Central has picked up for eight episodes.

Trevor Noah

Noah has already started 2015 off with a bang. After selling out an international comedy tour, it was announced at the end of March that he would be taking over hosting duties of The Daily Show when Jon Stewart retires later this year. While Noah is internationally known, he is still an up-and-comer in America. You can check out several of Noah’s comedy specials on Netflix while you await his Daily Show debut.

Nicole Byer

You may know her from MTV’s Girl Code, but Nicole Byer is so much more than that. The comedian hosts an improv show and has a web series she co-created for YouTube with SNL‘s Sasheer Zamata. Byer can currently be heard on the new animated show Like, Share, Die on Fusion.

Jerrod Carmichael

Carmichael made his mainstream film debut in last year’s hit comedy Neighbors starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. Since then, he has put out a Spike Lee-directed comedy special for HBO (Love At The Store) and sold two pilots to NBC. You can catch The Carmichael Show on NBC this summer.

Leslie Jones

Jones has been working as a comedienne for more than 20 years. It was only at Chris Rock’s urging that Lorne Michaels decided to bring Jones on to Saturday Night Live and the rest is history. Jones went from writer to performer on the show and can be seen in the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters remake which is set to begin filming later this year.

Eric André

The Don’t Trust The B**** in Apartment 23 alumnus is not afraid to push things to the limit. The Eric André Show, which just began filming its fourth season for Adult Swim, puts celebrities in the hot seat and makes them squirm. In one of the funniest moments from last season, Andre made heavyweight rappers Action Bronson and Killer Mike do a rap battle while running on treadmills and being offered a tray of doughnuts. You can also catch André on the critically-acclaimed FXX show, Man Seeking Woman.

Andrew Bachelor, aka, King Bach

The backflipping Vine superstar managed to turn his six-second videos into a real career in Hollywood. Boasting millions of followers on Instagram, Vine, and Twitter, the social media superstar crossed over into network TV land with a multi-episode arc on The Mindy Project and a recurring role on Adult Swim’s Black Jesus. Next up for Bachelor: leading roles in two major motion pictures.

Ron Funches

The huggable comedian is coming off hilarious turns in the comedy Get Hard starring Kevin Hart and the final season of the Kroll Show. With his light-hearted punchlines and witty comebacks, Funches is going to have a great 2015. He can currently be seen in the NBC comedy Undateable and the upcoming film Killing Hasselhoff.

Franchesca Ramsey, aka, Chescaleigh

From that perfect Britney Spears impression to the hilarious YouTube videos, blogger/comedian/writer Chescaleigh is gearing up for a multimedia takeover. Recently, Chescaleigh started a podcast with her hubby called Last Name Basis and she was on social media and did the Daily Wrap Up for the Tribeca Film Festival. Go Chesca!

Jermaine Fowler

Most of you probably recognize Jay Pharoah as the guy who does the Jay Z/Denzel/Kanye/Obama impressions on Saturday Night Live, but he is capable of a lot more than just that. A flexible talent, Pharoah is an actor, comedian, and musician. Pharoah is a very skilled MC who released a pretty dope EP late last year. He was also in the Chris Rock comedy Top Five last in 2014.
