Mo’Nique

Mo’Nique sent ripples through Hollywood when she debuted her unshaved legs at the Precious premiere. But when the tabloids tried to criticize her, Mo’Nique refused to apologize for her hairy limbs, saying that her husband “loves the hairy legs.” She added, “if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go … I’m 42 and very hairy.”

Amanda Palmer

The Dresden Dolls singer Amanda Palmer says that she’s with Mo’nique when it comes to the natural look. After the actresses’ Precious moment brought on the snarky tabloids, Palmer tweeted in solidarity, “hopefully between me & Mo’Nique, we’ll change the cultural beauty & shaving standard this year.”

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart said she spent most of her life being unshaven, even though she was teased  about it:

“It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s disgusting — you don’t shave your legs!”

But that all changed when she found Twilight fame and the media spotlight. Now she says she pays extra attention to upkeep to avoid being labeled a “delinquent slimy idiot.”

Mayim Bialik

The Big Bang Theory star has never used a razor in her life!

On her blog, she shared the interesting information:

“I remain the tomboy/feminist who has never in her life shaved her legs or armpits. Ever. The decision was made in early adolescence, maybe when I was 14 and all the girls in my school–none of whom had any hair on their bodies–started shaving because it was “grown-up.” Whatever. Seemed like a waste of time, a conformity that disgusted me (I was a feisty feminist even at 14).

Joey Lawrence used to tease me about it mercilessly in my teen years on Blossom.”

Cameron Diaz

Get ready to crack up when you hear Cameron Diaz’s reasons for not doing laser removal the hair down there:

“Pubes keep the goods private, which can entice a lover to come and take a closer look at what you have to offer. Also, let’s be honest: just like every other part of your body, your labia major is not immune to gravity. Do you really want a hairless vagina for the rest of your life?

It’s a personal decision, but I’m just putting it out there: Consider leaving your vagina fully dressed, ladies. Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is.”

Can’t. Stop. Laughing.
