Candice Bergen

Candice Bergen says that at some point you just have to embrace the calories. Bergen dieted for years when she was a fashion model, but now she says “no more.”

“Let me just come right out and say it – I am fat. In the past 15 years … I have put on 30 pounds. I live to eat. None of this ‘eat to live’ stuff for me.”

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence says that she’s somehow “considered a fat actress” in Hollywood, but refuses to diet or exercise:

“During Hunger Games, when I was eating ungodly amounts, I used to tell myself, ‘Stop eating, people are going to see this. This movie is going to be around forever.’ But nope! I was like, I still want candy and I still want a hot dog!”

Are there really people who think that Jennifer Lawrence is fat? We don’t see it.

Adele

After a troll on YouTube left a mean comment saying that the singer is a “test pilot for pies,” Adele let them know that she’s not bothered by such ignorance: “I’ve always been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn’t.”

Tyra Banks

Tyra says she doesn’t believe in crash dieting and she doesn’t want contestants on America’s Next Top Model to try it either:

“I don’t do a good job of helping [my girls] lose weight, even if they might need to. We stock the house really bad, and then they complain, like, ‘We’re eating all this crap!’ For me, I don’t want them to feel all crazy like models in my day felt. I don’t care – gain some weight, whatever. I know how to choose a shot that’s the most flattering.”

Kelly Clarkson

The American Idol star calls her added pounds over the years “happy weight” and says that haters better get over themselves:

“It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people think. It’s more if I”m happy and I’m confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”

Kristen Bell

Actress Kristen Bell says that if her body is a bit curvier after having her kids, so be it:

“I’m not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size. I’d like to get back down to where I was before the baby, but if this is where my body wants to be, so be it. I’m not going to make myself miserable for the rest of my life trying to get back to where I was before.”

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet says that she wants to be a healthy size in order to be an inspiration for other women, so no crash dieting for her.

“I am not a twig – and refuse to be a twig. I would like young girls who are screwed up about their bodies to think that it’s possible to have a healthy shape.”

January Jones

The Mad Men star wants her fans to know that her pin-up worthy figure requires no dieting:

“I have never dieted. I just listen to whatever my body craves. I don’t deny myself anything. I don’t crave sweets or unhealthy things very often.

But when I do, like if I’m in a bad mood and I’m in traffic, I’ll stop at McDonald’s and get a strawberry shake and fries and not feel guilty at all, because I deserve it.”

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez has always been famous for her curves. But not everyone is a fan. She once had to fire a manager for demanding that she lose weight!

“I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn’t have a little extra meat on you – because I was by no means fat! That was so mean and close-minded.”
