Start With A Grapefruit

Angie says sweet, Ruby Red grapefruits are the best. But if you’re allergic to grapefruit or it interferes with your medication, feel free to use a grapefruit-sized navel orange.

Heat Things Up

Bring the grapefruit up to just a little warmer than room temperature by sitting it in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Don’t boil or microwave the grapefruit. In this particular case, hotter isn’t better.

Cut A Hole In The Grapefruit

Now this step has to be precise. You want to make it identical to his girth. If you make it to small, just widen the hole with your finger. Too big? Squeeze the outside of the grapefruit in while you’re working it, just like you’re doing a kegel.

Blindfold Him

Angie says that the key to the Grapefruit Technique is the element of surprise. It will stop him from asking a million questions about what you’re planning to do with the grapefruit in your hand.

Just store it somewhere out of the way until his eyes are covered. Trouble getting him blindfolded? Angie says just tell him you have a sexy surprise in store and he’ll put it on himself!
