Werk! Mo’Ne Davis Appears In Teen Vogue’s November Issue
Mo’Ne Davis appeared in Teen Vogue’s November Issue. This girl’s reign just won’t stop. The summer she pitched a no hitter during a Little League World Series game, appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated, was the subject of a Spike Lee documentary, pitched at a World Series game.
And now, she’s on Teen Vogue looking fabulous.
By all appearances, it’s good to be Mo’ne Davis right now. But despite all the success, attention and determination she exudes on the field, the 13-year-old told Teen Vogue, she’s still a kid.
When she’s not playing one of the three sports (baseball, basketball or football) or maintaining her status as an honor roll student, she enjoys listening to Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, sleeping, eating or shopping. She called Zendaya Coleman her style icon.
Mo’ne told Teen Vogue, “Seeing my pitching, you’d think I’m a really serious person–but I’m actually kind of goofy. I like to laugh!”
Just because she’s grounded and adamant about being a young teenager, Mo’ne knows that there’s some responsibility that comes with her newfound fame.
“It’s a big responsibility knowing that other kids are watching what I do. But if I can inspire girls to reach their goals, then I’m happy.”
Love it!
