Report: Big Pun's Mother Arrested For Robbing A Bank
Woman Believed To Be Big Pun’s Mother Arrested For Robbing A Bank
In bizarre news, a woman believed to be the mother of deceased rapper Big Pun was arrested for robbing a Wells Fargo in Miami.
According to CBS Miami, a 63-year-old woman by the name of Gail Simpson allegedly walked into the financial institution last week at around 3:30 p.m. and demanded money from a bank teller. She was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money. Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery; however, no one was injured. Simpson was eventually taken into police custody. As it turns out, she’s currently on probation after being convicted of attempted robbery.
One source tells Necole Bitchie that Gail Simpson is actually an alias of Big Pun’s mother Gail Tirado, which people search sites seem to verify. According to the source, Gail was saddened by her family’s unsuccessful attempts at recovering royalties and revenues from Pun’s estate, which were allegedly stolen by Fat Joe and producer John “Jelly Beanz” Benitez.
As you may recall, Pun’s widow Liza Rios made headlines last month after she filed another lawsuit against Joe for unpaid royalties. It’s difficult to tell if this is really Pun’s mother and so far, nothing has officially been confirmed. However, if it turns out that this is actually Pun’s mother, this is all pretty sad.
