Tamela Mann

Tamela Mann has shown us the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise as she has shed more than 200 pounds (“Lost 246 pounds thanks to God, Family, and Y’all….”)! The gospel singer began counting calories when her husband, David, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The couple started to get serious about daily exercise and healthy eating. In an interview about the family’s new eating habits, Mann says, “For many African American families, a lot of the time when we sit down to dinner, we can have two or three starches in one meal. You can still have some, but you don’t have to have as many.” We have to admit, she looks great!

Rick Ross

Ross may own a few Wingstop franchises, but that doesn’t mean he eats at them often. Ross shed over 100 pounds this past summer and attributes that to exercising (including doing Crossfit) and his new eating habits: “I eat pears and sh*t now.”  We hope the self-proclaimed “Teflon don” keeps up the good work.
