Mendeecees Harris' Brother And Co-Defendant Sentenced
Mendeecees Harris’ Brother And Co-Defendant Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison
“Love & Hip Hop” star Mendeecees Harris may be out on bail while he awaits trial, but his brother and co-defendant, Tyrus Harris, recently learned of his fate from South District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. According to the Democrat & Chronicle, 36-year-old Tyrus was sentenced to five years in prison on June 30.
As you may recall, Tyrus pleaded guilty back in March to the drug conspiracy charges being brought against him. Mendeecees, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was released on $600,000 bond back in April. The reality star is scheduled to appear back in court in October.
Mendeecees’ legal woes made it to his “Love & Hip Hop” storyline the season before last when viewers witnessed him turning himself over to the authorities. Although he claimed not to know what he was being charged with on the show, it was later revealed that he was facing a plethora of drug trafficking charges.
