If you haven’t heard, today VH1 is hosting #AskTI and Twitter is already flooded with insults, accusations and every other kind of shade.
We don’t know who’s bright idea it was to turn to the audience for questions, but we do know of a few more hashtag campaigns that were just as dumb.

We don’t know what genius thought up the #AskRKelly account, but the results were just as disastrous as you’d expect.
#EndFathersDay
Apparently this father’s day was the year everybody took out their daddy issues on Twitter.

We know men aren’t perfect. But lumping the good in with the bad is never a good move, even if it was some twisted hoax.
#NotGuilty
Entenmann’s reps say they didn’t know that #notguilty was already trending after the Casey Anthony verdict.
But more skeptical dessert fans think they were taking advantage of a popular tragedy. Entenmann’s responded with a Twitter apology.
#Aurora
Celeb Boutique released this when #Aurora was trending after the mass shooting in Aurora, Co.
Celeb Boutique’s reps say that the person posting the Tweet wasn’t from the US and didn’t know that the hashtag trend they were borrowing was related to a national tragedy.
#BringBackOurGirls
Ramaa Mosley took trend riding to a new low when she pretended to have started the Twitter campaign and asked for donations on its behalf. The real heroes were from Nigeria where the girls were kidnapped.
#AskDraya
We’re starting to think that Draya, RKelly and TI have the same publicists. And they must be called We Don’t Learn, incorporated.
#KissinEachotherLove
This hashtag is unfortunate because Young Thug released it right in the middle of his battle against rumors that he’s gay.
#BleachedBeauty
Model Vera Sidika started this hashtag campaign to promote skin bleaching.
Black Twitter expectedly exploded with criticism. But Vera says she’s not sorry because bleaching her skin has resulted in more jobs and dates.
#BringBackOurCountry
Ramaa Mosley wasn’t the only opportunist to try to turn #BringBackOurGirls to her favor. Ann Coulter joined the bandwagon by trying to trend #BringBackOurCountry and steal a little of the lime from the Nigerian tragedy.
#Hobbitch
This hashtag fiasco was Switzerland’s attempt to trend a Tolkien topic. The ISO code for Switzerland is CH, so naturally they just put the two together.
#OpryNig
When Darius Rucker — black lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish — performed on the Opry’s famous stage, it’s Twitter account released this unfortunate hashtag.
They say that they meant to trend #OpryNights but forgot about the 140 character limit and their Tweet was cut off.
Hashtag
In a list of biggest hashtag mistakes, this baby’s name has got to be at the tippy top.
#MyNYPD
One of the few things people love to hate more than R. Kelly, Draya and TI is the NYPD. So we can’t understand why they thought starting #MyNYPD would be a good idea.
#AskTI
A day before the campaign even started, fans quickly made it clear that they didn’t have anything nice to #AskTI
