They’re rich. They’re famous. They’re some of the most beautiful women in the world. But unfortunately time has not been kind to their acting careers. Hints of promise have been overshadowed by Razzie-worthy performances in some truly awful flicks. But regardless of some stumbles along the way, we still have faith that at least a few of these sirens can step up their game and make themselves well-known for their performances on-screen, not off.

Paula Patton

With turns in “Precious” and “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol” we had a lot of faith that Paula Patton would show that her acting was just as jaw-dropping as her looks. Unfortunately it seems as if her personal life has received more attention than her acting has. There have been flashes of talent in some of Patton’s roles, but if she is hoping to have some Hollywood staying power she will certainly need to step up her game.

Meagan Good

The beautiful Meagan Good has been in the acting game since the tender age of four, but even years of experience haven’t elevated her star beyond predictable, supporting roles. Good is routinely cast as the beautiful sidekick who is unlucky in love and we’re sick of it. If she doesn’t expand her range, her time in Hollywood could become horribly bleak and boring.

Megan Fox

There is no denying that Megan Fox is one of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses and quite the MILF (Brian Austin Greene is a lucky dog). Now if only her acting could measure up to her looks. From “Transformers” to the utterly unwatchable “Jennifer’s Body,” Fox has been rather disappointing on-screen. But we’re not giving up on her yet. Maybe mommyhood will give Fox the inspiration she needs

Halle Berry

Halle Berry persists in being one of the most interesting people in Hollywood. While widely respected and admired for her accomplishments on the silver screen, Berry has had her share of film flubs and strange roles, including her turn in “Frankie and Alice.” While the concept was an intriguing one (Berry played a woman with multiple personalities), the movie was a clear attempt to garner Oscar-buzz that just didn’t pan out, for critics or audiences. She will next be seen in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” as Storm, a role that is sure to get lost among Marvel’s better-known and more interesting mutants.

Jessica Alba

When the most critical acclaim your career has seen has been in a movie in which you wear a**-less chaps and dance on a bar top, it might be time to try and step up the acting game. While Jessica Alba has moved away from the spotlight in recent years, she will reprise her role as Nancy Callahan in the long-anticipated sequel to “Sin City.” But if she’s really going to make her H-Wood comeback, she will need to find a more substantial role to sink her teeth into.

Tyra Banks

Tyra, Tyra, Tyra. A jack-of-all-trades and one of the greatest models to ever walk the runway, Tyra Banks seems to have dominated almost every field she has tried her hand at. Acting could be the only exception. While she brings undeniable charisma to the screen, she has yet to really show range and the ability to separate herself from her off-screen persona. And a turn in a sequel to “Life Size” probably won’t help matters.

LisaRaye

LisaRaye is nothing if not memorable. As Diamond in “Players Club,” LisaRaye captivated with her incredible curves and take-no-prisoners attitude. But ever since that breakout role, LisaRaye has yet to find that big-screen role that could take her to the next level. While she has found a comfortable gig on “Singles Ladies” there is still a part of us that would love to see LisaRaye shine.

Vivica A. Fox

We’ll be honest: Vivica A. Fox has never been one of our favorite actresses. But she showed promise throughout the early 90s that was undeniable. Sadly, as her career chugged along she fell into B-movies and ridiculous celebrity endorsements. One of her next movies: “Sharknado 2.” Might we suggest you getting back into the “Kill Bill” level flicks you once starred in, because cheap sci-fi flicks just won’t do, Vivica.

Tara Reid

Sadly, Tara Reid has become something of a postergirl for non-acting actresses in Hollywood. Having capitalized on her bubbly blonde looks, Reid has never really found a role that could prove detractors wrong. But with that said: Never say never. This one is the longest shot on the board, but maybe one day Reid will surprise us all with a solid on-screen performance. Probably not, but you never know.

Kristen Stewart

There’s only so much of the sullen, agnsty teenager vibe we can handle before Kristen Stewart seems boring and uninspiring. While it seems as if that mellow vibe is Stewart’s schtick, bringing that same energy to the big screen just makes all her roles sort of bleed together. Good luck naming three movies Stewart has been in aside from “Twilight,” or even three films in which Stewart doesn’t seem like a sad 17-year-old.

Beyonce

Our love of Beyonce is well-known. She is an incredible singer and amazing performer, but when it comes to her acting … we’re not at as gung-ho. While “Dreamgirls” is the sunny spot on Ms. Knowles’ acting resume, let’s be honest: The real star was Jennifer Hudson. Her other acting forays (“Obsessed,” “Cadillac Records”) have all been rather forgettable. Bey, take that star power and make it happen on the big screen. We know you’ve got it in you.

January Jones

She dazzles on “Mad Men,” but when it comes to creating sparkling performances outside of the 1960s, Jones struggles. While her stone-cold gaze works wonders as Betty Draper, it doesn’t translate as well in other settings. Jones is strikingly beautiful and definitely full of potential, she just needs the chance to really broaden her horizons (a part in the X-Men franchise isn’t really cutting it).
