These are the men with press n’ curls who had no business having them to begin with and who, thankfully, have retired their free flowing tresses in favor of ceaser’s and other non-pimp-like haircuts more befitting of men of a certain age.

KCi tried to pull off this look at a time when PR people actually had some control over their artists so I don’t know who gave the green light to this Mary Tyler Moore flip mess, but thankfully it was short-lived.
So, truth be told, there’s no telling when Trinidad James’ press n’ curl may reemerge, but there’s also no telling when he’ll have another hit on his hands so as long as he stays out of the limelight our eyes are safe.

So at some point just about every member of Bone Thugs N’ Harmony decided a press n’ curl was hot ish, thankfully they all agreed they were wrong years later.
OK. We’ll be honest, we kinda loved Andre 3000’s sleek hair in the “Hey Ya” video. We could just tell under those bright lights he was about to gave an afro situation on him real quick if he didn’t revert back on his own.
Don’t shoot the messenger on this, but Prince was just getting way too many passes in the ’80s — high heels, booty-less pants, and a head full of luxuriously full hair! One of them had to go.
