Kanye West Gets Another Chance to Perform Live

BET has announced that rapper, Kanye West will headline a performance at the BET Awards according to an update posted on the BET website. After a long hiatus’, he is ready to take the awards show stage since his spectacle at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
West is nominated for two BET Awards this year, including Video of the Year for his collaboration on Jay-Z’s single, “Run This Town,” featuring Rihanna. The high-profile rapper and producer has made several appearances to three different high schools in Chicago where he did a private concert with fellow Chicagoan rappers, Common and Lupe Fiasco for the Kanye West Foundation. In May, he showed up to Manhattan nightclub for a listening session for his next album, Good A** Job.
His first single off the new album, “Power,” released last month. West has not said which songs he will outline at the BET Awards.
