Have you ever been watching television, or having a YouTube binge fest and you recognize a face from reality television?  Now, some of these participants were in music videos before appearing on shows, and others appeared in videos after being on the shows that made them household names.  Whether you see it as a lateral move or not, these reality stars have been able to find multiple avenues to keeping their names out there.

Now, sometimes we can be serious (I know that my articles can be a little heavy), so let’s have a little fun with this post.  At the very least, you can enjoy some of your favorite songs, and if you make it to the last page, you can help me decide who this person is.  IF it is who I think it is…

Let’s have some fun!  Starting with:

Natalie Nunn

Natalie first came across our television screens on the fourth season of “Bad Girls Club.” She might not be America’s favorite bad girl, but she was always entertaining, and was the perfect person for Wale and J. Cole when they did their joint video for “Bad Girls.”

Shay “Buckeey” Johnson

Before she was waiting for a clock from Flav, and some truthfulness from Scrappy, Shay was shaking and bouncing in multiple music videos.  Appearing in visual mediums from Dem Boyz, Young Dro, Bubba Sparxxx, and Fabolous with…

Larissa “Bootz” Aurora

On “Flavor of Love 2,” Bootz stood her ground, saying that she wasn’t going to leave with the Ying Yang Twins to be in their music video.  She was there to be with Flav!  However, after Flav neglected to give her a clock, Bootz went on to appear in Fabolous’s video “Baby Don’t Go,” with reality frenemy Shay/Buckeey.

 Catya Washington

Season 5 was the first season of “Bad Girls Club” that was shot outside of LA, and it introduced us to urban model Catya Washington.  Catya, who had made a name for herself appearing in music videos for multiple artists, and in magazine spreads, would later be identified in Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video, and others.

Erica Mena

Erica has been working in the hip hop industry since she was a teen.  By the time she was fighting Kimbella on LHHNY, Erica had appeared in a number of top videos from a variety of artists.  But she wasn’t the only person on this list with an issue with Kimbella…

Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander

I don’t think that anyone really anticipated what a hit “Flavor of Love” would be, but people enjoyed it.  As the standout, and the first winner of the show, Hoopz would go on to not be with Flav, but occasionally appear in music videos.  Just like…

 Jessica “Rabbit” Rich

Before she was vying for the affection of Chance on “Real Chance of Love,” Jessica had already graced television screens by appearing in music videos.  After she was eliminated from the show, she can be seen as a principle girl in Jim Jones, Ron Browz, and Juelz Santana’s “Pop Champagne” video.

 Cristal “Serious” Steverson

Serious let Flav and the girls know, on the first season of “Flavor of Love,” that she was a model, and she had the portfolio as proof.  Cristal can still be seen in music videos with other reality show contestants, like…

 My little Surprise

Okay, now hear me out.

The inspiration for this article came one night after watching a documentary about video girls in hip hop videos.  I decided to watch 50 Cent ft. Mobb Deep’s “Outta Control,” the video that the girls were auditioning for in the documentary.  When I got to the 3:45 mark, I had to pause and ask:  “Is that

Rashidah Ali?!

For those who don’t know, Rashidah Ali is a current cast member on “Love and Hip Hop New York.”  She’s an acclaimed shoe consultant and was also on the first season of Basketball Wives.

Now, I’m not saying for sure this is her, but sound off in the comment section if you’re seeing what I saw, and also name one of the many people that I didn’t.
