Katt Williams, comedian extraordinaire, has been anything but shy when talking about his hair. He’s lauded himself as a perm wearing, faux pimp with “luxurious” hair. Let him tell it. Yes, there have been times where Katt’s hair has been fabulous. But there have also been times where his hair, and we’re sure Katt would agree, looked a hot mess. Check out the highs and the lows along the way.
If you remember his role as Money Mike, in Friday After Next, you know that Katt’s hair was riiiight! His hair, loosely curled at the ends, was full, healthy, long and yes…luxurious. This was probably the best his hair ever looked. It looked so good, I wonder if it was all his.
If you wanted to see the look in a more straightened form, here it is. Do you think this is all his? Something about the ends look like a different texture than the top part.
This look right here is serving Lollypop Guild realness. With these tightly curled ends and that middle part, it’s clear he was trying to use his hair to make a statement. The only problem with this look is that… after you’ve been on stage sweating for the past hour and a half, it might look like this:
Now this Katt, is how you do a bob. It’s thick and healthy looking and it’s curled to perfection. Surely a luxurious moment.
I know this post is about the hair. And we’ll get to that .But can we please to take a minute and comment on this tattoo in the dead center of his chin?! What is going on? Is that a bird? What’s happening? Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to be permanent. Now, this hair. Katt’s ends are completely split. His hair is half wavy, half straight and a mostly hot mess.

At least with the last picture, we could say that Katt was having a rough day because he was arrested. (That was a mug shot, in case you didn’t notice.) But here, in 2007 he was attending the BET Awards wearing a Kangol headband over what looks like a wash n go gone wrong. This is not the move Katt.
Katt redeems himself here though in one of his stand up routines. The bounce is back.
This is most definitely a wig. And luckily, this is not Katt in his real life. This spiked hair was for his role in the movie First Sunday.

Even though some would argue Katt’s hair was done here, it’s clear that there’s something severely off about this picture. One side is curled. The other is hanging limply and those ends are on strug yet again.
In the other mug shot, it seemed like Katt at least tried. This one? Not so much.
This style is simplified but we don’t mind the wet and wavy look.
This look is far from luxurious. It’s shaved hair in the back and lack of curls make it a little simple but at least it’s healthy.
This is not a hair look but there have been several moments where Katt was rocking a hat. Apparently, he couldn’t be bothered to do his hair. This is certainly a moment of distress.
While Katt gets his career and hair back on the right track, this slicked back look will work in the interim.
