Being too famous can definitely have its downfalls. Though concerts bring in all sorts of revenue, plenty of which goes into the performer’s pockets, the entertainer may also pay a high price when things get out of hand. With fame comes fans, and with fans sometimes comes a crazy person or two. Here are 14 artists who have been attacked by a fan.
Beyonce
Back in September, Beyonce held a concert in Sao Paolo, Brazil. During her performance, a crazy fan decided to grab her while she was on stage and proceeded to drag her off stage. Despite the craziness that had just ensued, Beyonce put on her nice face and didn’t allow security to escort the man out of the concert. Instead, she was as graceful as ever, introduced herself to the man, and went back to her performance.
Rihanna
During a performance in Birmingham, England, a fan decided to get a little too close to Rihanna. When Ri Ri got off of the stage and walked past the crowd during a song, one fan decided to grab her arm and not let go. Rihanna’s reaction? Hitting the fan in the face with her microphone and getting back to business. All we have to say is…kudos!

Back in 2008 during a concert in Angola a 50 Cent fan decided to go a bit overboard. The fan attacked 50 from behind and swiped his gold chain and then jumped back into the crowd. A G-Unit insider reported that after the attack, 50 jumped into the crowd as well, punched the fan, and got his chain back.
Miley Cyrus
Long before she became known for her crazy twerking antics, back in 2011 Miley Cyrus was grabbed by a fan during a concert in Melbourne, Australia. She was so shaken up that she had to leave the stage with security and end the concert right then and there. Nowadays we think that Miley would actually enjoy a crazy stunt like this. More publicity, right?
Justin Bieber
Along with a cute teenage boy comes crazy fans, also known as Bielibers, who are willing to do anything and everything to get a piece of him. Justin Bieber has been attacked more than once, including in Texas as well as in Dubai. He was even attacked by a male during a piano performance which left Bieber stunned and the piano ruined.
Keri Hilson
Back in October 2011 during her “No Boys Allowed” tour, Keri Hilson definitely got a lot more than she bargained for during a Paris concert. During her performance a fan decided that it would be a good idea to rush on stage during the last song and snatch Keri off stage. Though the incident resulted in Keri getting hit in the head by security accidentally, she later tweeted that she thought the fans intentions were good.
Robbie Williams
Robbie Williams’ run in with a fan is definitely one of the worst that has happened. During a performance in 2001 set in Germany, a fan decided that Robbie should join the audience. Robbie was pushed off of the stage and into the crowd. He only fell 5ft and was able to get back on the stage and continue. The fan was said to be suffering from psychiatric problems.
Nicki Minaj
During a talk break at a concert in Miami during 2012, a Nicki Minaj fan decided to join her on stage. Once the fan made his way onto the big platform, his fandom was quickly shut down as Nicki’s security team tackled and punched the man. Surely he learned his lesson after that one, at least we hope he did.
Britney Spears
Years ago Britney Spears was all the rage amongst teenage girls, boys, and some of the older generation as well. Back in 2009 during a concert in Connecticut, a fan made his way onto the stage and pretty much scared Britney to death. Ironically during this performance Britney was dressed as a cop and she had a baton in hand. She shoulda used it!
Demi Lovato
After a 2012 concert in Paraguay, Demi Lovato quickly learned that being too nice during a performance can backfire on you pretty quickly. In efforts to let her fans get a better seat at the concert, she allowed them to move closer to the stage. However, when one fan after another started getting on stage with her, things got a little hectic. The concert had to be paused when one fan opted to hug Demi, along with dozens of others.
Leona Lewis
Leona Lewis’ run in with a fan was insane, to say the least. In 2011 during a book signing in London, a man waited in line for five hours to meet Leona, but then he decided to punch her in the face. She was taken to a nearby hospital and the attacker was charged soon after. Apparently the attacker was rejected from the TV show “X Factor.”
Kid Cudi
Kid Cudi was about to take things into his own hands during a concert in 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. After a fan bum-rushed him during his hit song “Pursuit of Happiness,” Kid Cudi was more than ready to attack the fan and hand him a butt whipping. However, security held back Cudi and eventually got the fan off of the stage.
Riff Raff
Recently, Houston rapper Riff Raff had a bad run in with a crazy fun at an Ohio live concert. A fan decided to throw a can at him, and the beer can hit Riff Raff in the chest. He got completely irate, screamed at the crowd, and threatened to end the show. After regaining his composure he went back on stage to finish his performance.
