Clarence Thomas’ Wife Admits Call to Anita Hill Was a Mistake
Early in the morning on an October day, Virginia Thomas–wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas–left a voicemail message on Anita Hill’s work phone. Thomas basically demanded an apology from the woman who, 20 years ago, almost cost her husband a Supreme Court Justice appointment with allegations of sexual harassment. Hill refused to apologize and now Thomas recently told a reporter that the call was “probably a mistake.” Probably?
