Need a dose of Dragonfly Jones or Wanda to brighten your day?
Let’s be honest, how many times have you DVRed an episode of your go-to sitcom only to rewind it to your favorite part 50 million times? Guilty! Sometimes we don’t even bother to watch the whole episode if we can find that one clip on Youtube. From Fresh Prince of Bel Air to Good Times, these are the funniest moments we can’t stop watching from our favorite sitcoms.
1. Well, looky looky! Sheneneh’s over-the-top lingo, gestures and big box braids were enough to make the most tight-lipped person crack a smile at the very least. What ever you do, don’t get her started – IIIght – Oh mah goodness!
2. Will Smith and Carlton doing the Carlton dance is simply priceless. Please make a special note of Carlton’s head bobbling as he sways from side to side!
3. Most folk remember this episode, when Bill Cosby jiggled the chubby boy with the mushroom haircut around on his knee.
4. Who could forget In Living Color’s skit, Men on Film? Can we say two snaps and a twist!
.
5. Dragonfly Jones’ pre-beat down as he silences his opponent is classic. It’s all about the missing front teeth, bald dome and karate badges! In each instance, he has no idea he’s about to get jacked up, which adds to the humor!
6. When Martin gets into an all out brawl with Michael Jackson…funniest thing we have ever seen.
7. George Jefferson invented the shuckin’ and jivin’ shuffle! Watch the stanky leg at the end though – hilarious!
8. Sandra Clark was always dolled up, ready to meet a man. Her smug girlfriend, Mary Jenkins, was always ready to put her in her place!
9. Pops’ dance with the white, tic-tac shoes is priceless . . . actually, it was more like the running man meets skipping! Pops wins the award for 70’s black man happy dance hands down- Yit diddy!
10. Wanda Jackson was known for bragging that people always said she looked like a black Vanna White. With the blond Goldilocks wig, cross eyes and duck lips, Jamie Foxx’s impersonation of a hood chick with delusions of being a Marylin Monroe or Vanna White kept the laughter coming!
