Remember her from “Akeelah and the Bee” with Laurence Fishburne? She was such a cute little girl. Well, now she’s a stunning young woman starring in the hit Nickelodeon show “True Jackson, VP, ”  she has launched a clothing line and she just put out a single from her upcoming album. Her third album, by the way. Don’t sleep! She can definitely carry a tune.

Tristan Wilds
Age: 21
Most people were introduced to him as Michael on the critically acclaimed HBO series “The Wire” (Greatest tv show ever!). He then switched it up with a role in “The Secret Life of Bees” and a starring role in the revamped “90210” series.  Handsome and talented? Nice combo!

Jaden Smith
Age: 12
Baby sis isn’t the only kid in the family with the showbiz bug. Jaden impressed critics in “The Pursuit of Happyness” and in the remake of the beloved ‘80s classic “Karate Kid.”

Age: 20
She’s tall, gorgeous, has conquered catwalks all over the world and she’s not even old enough to drink alcohol.  She graced the cover of Vogue magazine at the age of  17 where she was heralded as being in the next generation of supermodels.

He played young Rooster in “Idlewild” and he seemed so grown up that people wondered if he was a a small grown man instead of a kid. Alas, Bobb’e is actually a kid and a very talented one at that.

Age: 20
We watched her blossom into a young lady on “The Bernie Mac Show” and she keeps the checks coming in with a role on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” Isn’t she gorgeous?

Tyler James Williams
Age: 18
Maybe “Everybody Hates Chris,” but everybody loves Tyler. Just as handsome as he can be, we are looking forward to him breaking out from his most famous role.

Jurnee Smollett
Age: 24
She was the smart-mouthed child in “Eve’s Bayou” who grew into the passionate young woman in “The Great Debaters.” Now she’s on “Friday Night Lights” and we’re sure to see more of this talented thespian.

Kai Morae
Age:  20
Daughter of actress LisaRaye McCoy and co-star of the reality series “The Real McCoy,” Kai is no stranger to the camera. She’s  been getting her own shine lately as a model for Apple Bottom Jeans. Yes, she’s just starting to branch out by herself, but we’re gonna call this one early. She’s beautiful and she seems to have a good attitude. That’s priceless.
