As Fox gears up for the July 15th debut of their new daytime talk show, The Real, hosted by Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai, they’re releasing more and more details about the show and what we can expect to see when it airs. The network recently released a couple of video previews for the show and some are wayyyy more interesting than others. One clip in particular, shows Adrienne offering a tutorial on how to give yourself a vajacial (facial for your vajayjay) using household products.
When asked by co-host Jeannie Mai why a woman would even want to give her vagina a facial, Adrienne simply replied:
“Because you gotta keep it purdy, okay?”
Using a peach as the vagina, Adrienne’s tutorial began. She suggests that ladies start off by cleansing their nether regions with antibacterial body wash, which should be followed up with alcohol-free toner. The next step includes creating an exfoliation mask with papaya, lemon juice and gelatin, which she said should be left on the vagina for 2-5 minutes.
After rinsing off the mask she instructs viewers on how to mix another one of her concoctions, including two tablespoons of plain greek yogurt, one tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide, which she says should also be applied to the area. According to Adrienne, this simple mixture is supposed to “soothe and lighten the bikini area.”
“I know some of us have scarring from in-grown hairs and all of that good stuff. You don’t want none of that,” she went on to explain.
Once the greek yogurt mix is rinsed off, she suggests popping open a vitamin E capsule and massaging the contents onto the vagina.
And there you have it, a homemade vajacial!
